Power restored after thousands experience outages in west side
Thousands of Duke Energy customers' power was restored Saturday afternoon following a 2 1/2-hour outage in Cincinnati's west side.
At 1:11 p.m., the utility's online outage map showed as many as 3,250 customers in the Westwood area were affected by the outages. They were first reported at 12:46 p.m.
By 3:17 p.m., Duke Energy was reporting that customers' power had been restored.
The cause of the outages remains unknown.
