Thousands march against restrictions in Germany
Face mask requirements and social distancing rules were "mostly ignored" according to police tweets.
In Berlin around 100 people gathered in front of the Brandenburg Gate to rally against coronavirus restrictions and especially the night-time ban on gatherings imposed as of Friday in Berlin.
So far, both demonstrations have remained peaceful.The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Germany increased by 18,129 to 2,873,190, data from the Robert Koch Institute or Infectious Diseases showed on Saturday.
The reported death toll rose by 120 to 76,895, the tally showed.
