“Star Bar is a great venue,” Chuck Rosencranz told Channel 2′s Elizabeth Rawlins. “It’s been around a long time.”

Since 1991, the Star Bar has made a name for itself, creating a popular and passionate following.

A new redevelopment project could change all of that. The proposal was announced during a zoning committee meeting with the Candler Park Neighborhood Association.

Star Bar officials say the current plans include demolishing the existing building, according to social media posts.

The proposal also includes property on Euclid Avenue adjacent to Little Five Points.
