Thousands to shop small at Vintage Market Days spring event

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW)– Thousands will shop small and find one-of-a-kind select items at the Vintage Market Days Coastal Carolina Spring event.

Starting Thursday and through the weekend, more than 120 vendors from 18 different states with a majority being local businesses will fill the Myrtle Beach Sports Center.

Owner of Vintage Market Day of Coastal Carolina, Kellie Gore says this year there are new vendors to look forward to.

“We have the coolest vendors this time,” she said. “Of course they will be gearing their items for the upcoming holidays—Easter, spring.”

And following the event theme-‘Vintage Vibes’

“I’m going to be enjoying my groovy time there,” Gore said.

A time when the Myrtle Beach Sports Center becomes an upscale vintage market.

A place for vendors to show off their creativity– displaying art, antiques, clothing, jewelry, handmade treasures, home décor and much more.

“Shoppers come back every day,” Gore said. “They come Friday, Saturday and Sunday.”

And it’s simple to gain re-entry- all you have to do is take a selfie in front of one of the theme walls and show the picture at the gate.

“We want people to come back more than once because the vendors re-stock at the end of each day. And I promise you I go through that venue probably one hundred times and every time I go through something new catches my eye,” she said.

If you see something you like Gore recommends you grab it before someone else does. If you are thinking about purchasing furniture, Gore says measure the space in your home prior.

She also encourages people to wear comfy shoes, bring a shopping wagon to carry items or utilize bag check throughout the shopping day.

“My favorite thing about this event is watching the shoppers as they leave and the wonderful compliments they give us as they leave,” she said “And that they really enjoyed all the effort it takes to put on this event and they appreciate the vendors and how creative they are and how friendly they are.”

Friday and Saturday the market will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and then on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

WBTW is a proud sponsor of Vintage Market Days. Tickets can be purchased online or at the door.
