Thousands Without Power in Mississippi Storms

Severe thunderstorms impacted the Jackson, Mississippi, area on May 4, the National Weather Service said.

More than 91,000 people in central Mississippi experienced power outages caused by the storms on Tuesday, local media reported.

Trees and power lines were downed across the region, according to local reports.
