Threat against Shiloh Middle School in Snellville determined to be not credible, school says

Parents of students at Shiloh Middle School in Snellville were notified on Thursday of a threat made against the school.

Parents received an email informing them that on Wednesday night, a concerned parent alerted the school about a potential threat.

The school said a school resource officer investigated the threat and found no evidence that the threat is credible.

“To be clear, police have found no evidence that the threat is credible, and your student is safe and not in danger,” Bernard Watson, Director of media and community relations for Gwinnett County Public Schools said.

As a precaution, the school had additional school resource officers present on Thursday.
