Three $10,000 winners in Arizona as Mega Millions jackpot rises to $1.25B

Mega Millions drawings are held every Tuesday and Friday at 11 p.m. ET or 8 p.m. Arizona time.

Tuesday night’s drawing of the Mega Millions did not find a winner for the 30th time, increasing the jackpot to over $1.25 billion dollars. But, it did give three lucky Arizonans a nice payday.

Lottery officials said that three $10,000 dollar winning tickets were sold across the state. These winners add to the list of winning tickets ranging from $10,000 to $1 million dollars in the last couple of drawings.

What were Tuesday's winning Mega Millions numbers?

The winning numbers for Friday’s Mega Millions drawing were 8, 24, 30, 45, 61, and a Mega Ball of 12.

Where were the lottery tickets sold?

Three different winning tickets were sold across the state, with all of them bringing in $10,000 dollars each.

  • A Jackson's on Scottsdale Road in Scottsdale.

  • A Fry’s on Camelback Road in Litchfield Park.

  • Another Fry’s on Ocotillo Road in Chandler.

How big is the Mega Millions jackpot?

The drawing did not have a jackpot winner with it now growing to $1.25 billion dollars, making it one of the largest lottery prizes in history.

Since April, there have been 30 Mega Millions drawing without a grand prize winner with the next drawing happening on Friday night. The last jackpot winner was seen on April 18, when a 71-year-old New Yorker won $476 million dollars.
