Three 6 Mafia celebrates Grizzlies win during Beale Street Music Festival performance

Three 6 Mafia celebrated the Memphis Grizzlies' playoff series win Friday night, along with the thousands of fans crowded around the Bud Light Stage at Beale Street Music Festival.

Three 6 Mafia's show started just as the Memphis Grizzlies' series-clinching game against the Timberwolves was winding down. A chunk of the crowd was fixed on the television screens in the VIP area, watching the final minutes of the Grizz win. The crowd erupted once the 114-106 victory was sealed, with Three 6 playing a celebratory "Tear Da Club Up."

"First off I want to give shoutout to the Memphis Grizzlies," Juicy J said. "We gon' win a championship — say what?!"

Earlier in Friday night, Memphis rapper Al Kapone — who wrote the classic “Hustle & Flow” track “Whoop That Trick” that has evolved into an anthem for the team — showed his support for the Grizzlies, even donning a white jersey.

"Y'all make some noise for our Grizz," he told the crowd, which had gathered around the same time the Grizzlies tipped off.
