Three Boca Raton restaurants, two in West Palm closed briefly after inspection
Five Palm Beach County restaurants were shut down last week after failing a state restaurant inspection.
Boca Raton
Villa Rosano, 9858 Clint Moore Road, Boca Raton, was ordered closed after an inspection on Aug. 11.
It had four high-priority, two intermediate and one basic violations.
The high-priority violations included the presence of insects.
The restaurant made the necessary corrections and reopened the next day.
Chili Crab, 1198, N. Dixie Highway, Boca Raton, was ordered closed after an inspection on Aug. 10.
It had one high-priority and two basic violations.
The high-priority violations included the presence of small, flying insects.
The restaurant corrected all the violations and reopened the next day.
A manager said they have regular pest control, but that nearby mango trees outside of the business recently had been dropping fruit which led to a fruit fly outbreak in the area.
Souvlaki Fresh, 122 NE Second St., Boca Raton, was ordered closed after an inspection on Aug. 9.
It had two high-priority and two basic violations.
The high-priority violations included improper food storage.
The restaurant quickly corrected all violations and reopened the same day.
West Palm Beach
Dulcios Carribean Restaurant, 1700 45th St., West Palm Beach was ordered closed after an inspection on Aug. 11.
It had four high-priority, eight intermediate and three basic violations.
The high-priority violations included equipment not properly sanitized.
The restaurant made the necessary corrections and reopend the next day.
JoJo's Take-Out, 1700 45th St., West Palm Beach, was ordered closed after an inspection on Aug. 10.
It had five high-priority, four intermediate and four basic violations.
The high-priority violations included presence of insects.
The restaurant made the necessary corrections and reopened on Aug. 13.
