Three-car crash Monday on Chastain Road injures two
May 11—A three-vehicle crash Monday evening on Chastain Road between Busbee Drive and George Busbee Parkway left two people injured, authorities said.
Cobb police said James Williams, 59, of Marietta, turned his Hyundai Elantra in front of the Chevrolet Camaro driven by Tristan Harrison, 23, of Conyers, as Williams attempted to turn left from Chastain Road into the Commons at Chastain.
Williams' car was redirected into the driveway and collided with the front of a black 2015 Honda Civic driven by Victoria Graham, 19, of Savannah. Graham's vehicle was stopped when it was hit.
An ambulance transported Graham to Wellstar Kennestone Hospital with a complaint of injury, while Williams, who was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, received a head injury and was transported to Kennestone for serious injuries.
Harrison did not require medical attention at the scene, police noted.
This collision remains under investigation, and anyone with information is requested to contact the Cobb County Police Department STEP Unit at 770-499-3987.
