Quote: "Three people died today alone: a 65-year-old woman in Kutuzivka, and a 61-year-old woman and a 49-year-old man in Balakliia.

Two people were injured as a result of attacks on the Industrial district in Kharkiv during the day."

Details: Oleh Syniehubov noted that recently the Russian aggressors, who have failed in their battles against the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region, have intensified their attacks on the regional centre and other settlements.

"We are documenting the MLRS strikes targeting the Kyivskyi, Shevchenkivskyi, Saltivskyi and Industrial districts of Kharkiv. The enemy is also attacking the city of Kharkiv and Kharkiv Oblast with missiles. There are hits in the industrial zone and on educational institutions. The enemy is also hitting the Chuhuiv, Lozova, Zolochiv and Derhachi hromadas (amalgamated territorial communities)," he said.

Syniehubov also said that local residents are continuing to return to Kharkiv. According to preliminary data, about 700,000 people are living in the city at the moment, which is almost half of Kharkiv residents.

"Regarding the anticipated Russian offensive on Kharkiv, we are constantly documenting the concentration and movement of troops on the border with our region and monitoring the situation. Given the events that unfolded after 24 February, we clearly understand that Kharkiv and the region are crucially important for the enemy, especially taking into consideration how we have ‘welcomed’ them here. We are doing everything possible to be prepared for any scenarios," Syniehubov said.
