A news release stated that all concert and rodeo events will be held inside Tingley Coliseum. More entertainers will be announced in the weeks to come.
“There is not much else that screams ‘New Mexico State Fair’ more than our annual Rodeo/Concert Series inside Tingley Coliseum,” said Dan Mourning, state fair general manager. “This year we have one of the most impressive lineups we’ve ever had that includes country legends: Martina McBride, Dwight Yoakam and Mark Chesnutt, bringing that old school classic country to New Mexico. You just aren’t going to (see) this pedigree of classic country artists anywhere else in New Mexico this Fall.”
Many other performers will take to other stages throughout the area during the week and a half-long event.
Concert and rodeo event tickets go on sale July 15 online at www.statefair.exponm.com. Event tickets will include admission to the fair itself.
