Three final mystery celebrities are unmasked during 'Masked Singer' Season 7 finale
Season 7 of The Masked Singer came to an end Wednesday night and it all came down to the Prince, the Firefly and the Ringmaster. However, only one could win the Golden Mask Trophy and that was Firefly. All three of the finalists were very talented vocally, so it was no surprise that they all ended up being professional singers in real life.
After his final performance of Coldplay's "Viva La Vida," the Prince received the lowest amount of votes and was the first to be unmasked. Ultimately, the Prince was revealed to be Emmy and Grammy nominated actor and singer Cheyenne Jackson and, even though his career started on Broadway, he shared that he still gets nervous.
"What I would say is if something scares you, do it. Because this was scary, and I did it, and I made it to the finale and I'm so proud of myself," shared Jackson. And from one actor/singer to another, the Ringmaster was revealed to be actress and singer Hayley Orrantia.
Orrantia may be known for her role on the ABC comedy series The Goldbergs as Erica Goldberg, but she wanted to remind everyone how much she loves music. In fact, Orrantia also reminded celebrity panelist Nicole Sherzinger that she first met her on Season 1 of The X Factor, during which she competed as a member of the country girl group Lakoda Rayne, formed by Paula Abdul.
Finally, the moment we've all been waiting for – who was the Firefly, the Masked Singer Season 7 champion? Well, it was none other than actress, singer, dancer, choreographer, and model, Teyana Taylor.
A big year for the Shumpert family. Taylor's husband, NBA star Iman Shumpert, just won the last season of Dancing With the Stars, so Taylor knows exactly where she's putting her Golden Mask Trophy… right next to the Mirror Ball.
