Three Georgia schools rank among top 100 of WalletHub college & university rankings
Three Georgia universities ranked in the top 100 of WalletHub's College & University Rankings for 2024.
The Georgia Institute of Technology earned the top ranking in the state, landing at No. 16 nationally. Emory University ranked at No. 31 and the University of Georgia ranked at No. 64.
Yale claimed the No. 1 spot overall, followed by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Princeton, Caltech and Harvard.
To determine its rankings, WalletHub, a personal finance company, compared 857 higher-education institutions across 30 key measures in these seven categories:

Of the more than 800 schools, Middle Georgia State University was noted by WalletHub as one of the colleges with the highest admission rate, meaning the student selectivity is low. Additionally, Georgia State University was tied for last in student-teacher ratio.
