Three guards from Grambling State men's basketball to participate in the NBPA Top 50 Camp

After a two-year COVID hiatus, the National Basketball Players Association Top 50 camp returns with senior guards Cameron Christon, Shawndarius Cowart and Tra’Michael Moton of Grambling State basketball chosen to participate.

The camp started Thursday and runs through Saturday at Morehouse and Clark Atlanta University in Atlanta. Players from the SIAC and SWAC conferences will receive hands on instruction from current and retired NBA players. The Top 50 camp also acts as a showcase of their talent through competitive games and scrimmages.

“The Top 50 Camp has proven to be an amazing environment for the NBPA to deepen its connection with the HBCU community,” said Purvis Short, NBPA Chief of Player Programs. “After a two-year pause due to the coronavirus pandemic, we are very excited to resume our partnership with the SIAC and SWAC to provide an all-encompassing experience for these HBCU athletes that will help prepare them for success on and off the court.”
