Three Jacksonville-area restaurants ranked as some of the best on the planet
A new ranking from Forbes Travel Guide lists three Jacksonville-area restaurants among the world’s most outstanding establishments.
The publication released its 2022 Forbes Travel Guide Star Award Winners this week.

The local restaurants that made the list include one in Atlantic Beach and two in Sea Island, Georgia.
Forbes lists Azurea, the restaurant inside the One Ocean Resort and Spa in Atlantic Beach, as recommended.
Colt & Alison in Sea Island received four stars. Georgian Room in Sea Island is the only five-star recipient in Georgia on the list. Unfortunately, Georgian Room’s website says the restaurant is “closed until further notice.”

The rankings include just 74 five-star, 112 four-star, and 67 recommended restaurants around the world.
Forbes Travel Guide recognized a total of 1,830 hotels, restaurants, or spas.
Forbes says their professional inspectors travel the world to assess hotel, restaurants, and spas based on 900 objective standards. Their rating system emphasizes service, according to their website.
