STORY: The cubs, born on May 30 to a lioness named Vasudha, are healthy and would be displayed to the public in their enclosure on Thursday (September 1), following their vaccination, said zoo superintendent Rajesh Patel said.

"Fortunately, the mother looked after the cubs. The delivery process was carried out in a timely manner and it took eight hours. All three cubs are healthy," Patel said.

Vasudha had previously given birth to four cubs in 2020, of which two were stillborn and one died after 26 days, according to the zoo.
