All three main investigation avenues for helicopter crash in Brovary remain viable
Three main avenues of investigation for the plane crash in Brovary, in which the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs was killed: violation of flight safety rules, technical malfunction and sabotage, remain on the agenda of the Service Security of Ukraine (SSU) investigation.

Details: Klymenko also noted that all helicopters operated by the Ministry of Internal Affairs are currently being inspected, primarily Airbus and, in particular, the Airbus 225 model.
As the minister states, this applies to all parts of their use, from repair and maintenance to providing pre-flight tasks and, of course, the work and training of crews.
Previously: Denys Shmyhal, Prime Minister of Ukraine, stated that the investigation has the data from the black boxes of the helicopter that crashed in Brovary, Kyiv Oblast, killing the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Background:
On the morning of 18 January, a helicopter fell near a kindergarten in the city of Brovary, Kyiv Oblast, and a fire broke out. As a result, the top leadership of the Ukrainian Ministry of Internal Affairs was killed, including Denys Monastyrskyi, Minister of Internal Affairs, Yevhen Yenin, First Deputy Interior Minister, and Yurii Lubkovych, State Secretary of the Interior Ministry, as well as assistants and security of the minister. Information about the total number of fatalities varied.
According to the State Emergency Service, a total of 14 people died, including a child.
The Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) has started proceedings due to the crash of the helicopter in Brovary. Among the main avenues of investigation are the following: violation of flight rules, technical malfunction and intentional actions. In February, the investigation reported that it had questioned more than 6,000 witnesses.
On 7 February, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine appointed Ihor Klymenko to the position of Minister of Internal Affairs. He was an acting interior minister prior to that.
Klymenko reported that the first results of the investigation could be revealed at the end of March or at the beginning of April.
