Three men shot, one fatally, in Bronx street battle
Three men were shot, one fatally, during a battle on a Bronx street Tuesday night, cops said.
The victims were all shot just after 8:45 p.m. at E. Mt. Eden Ave. and Jerome Ave in Mt. Eden; police believe the trio were fighting each other.
One of the men died at St. Barnabas Hospital; a second victim was in critical condition at Lincoln Hospital with a gunshot to the head. The third man, who was shot in the chest, was being treated at Lincoln Hospital and was expected to survive, cops said.
Police recovered at least one gun from the scene, an NYPD spokesman said.
