Three people injured in east Petersburg restaurant shooting. At least one of them was shot.

PETERSBURG — Police are investigating a shooting early Sunday morning at a restaurant in the city's east side.

Three people were hurt in the melee, police said. A man was reported shot, but his injury is not life-threatening. A woman was hit with broken glass.

It was not immediately clear if the third victim, a woman, was hit by gunfire or debris.

Police said all three victims have been treated for their injuries.

The incident happened at the Paradise Restaurant, 1714 E. Washington St. According to its website, the restaurant was open at the time of the incident.
