Three Pittsburgh stadiums ranked among the best in the country

A new study has named three of Pittsburgh’s most popular sports venues as some of the best stadiums in the country.

According to the USA Stadium Report, PNC Park, PPG Paints Arena and Heinz Field are among the top 20 places to see live sports.

Rankings are based on which sports venues are most searched on Google and have the highest average ratings on different platforms, such as Facebook and Yelp. This particular report examined the ratings of 117 different stadiums from around the country.

PNC Park was ranked as one of the second-best stadiums in the U.S, tied with Oriole Park at Camden Yards.

Heinz Field sat at 16th on the list and was the third-highest NFL stadium on the list.

PPG Paints Arena was ranked as tied with several other stadiums for No. 19 on the list.

Lambeau Field, home of the Green Bay Packers, was marked as the nation’s No. 1 stadium. The Washington Commanders’ home, FedEx Field, sat on the bottom of the list at 128th place.
