Three Refugio players earn first team nods on TSWA 2A All-State football team
Three players from Refugio were first team selections on the 2022 Texas Sports Writers Association Class 2A All-State team, which was announced on Tuesday.
Refugio wide receiver, defensive back and punter Jordan Kelley earned a slot as a utility player. Kelley has signed with Columbia University to play football.
Also from Refugio offensive lineman J.R. Moore was as first team selection as an offensive tackle and Ty LaFrance was named first team as a defensive linemen.
Shiner's Dalton Brooks was the Offensive Player of the Year, and Da'Marian Medlock of Mart earned Defensive Player of the Year honors. Shiner coach Daniel Boedeker was the Coach of the Year.
