Three people are running for two four-year-terms on the Fairport Village Board.

The annual salary for a Village Board member is $10,597.

The Nov. 7 General Election is approaching in Monroe County. Polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday on Election Day. We will post the election results for Monroe County as they become available.

Meet the candidates for Fairport Village Board

Occupation: Second grade reading teacher, Midlakes Schools, Phelps-Clifton Springs Central School District

Education: Bachelor's degree in communications from State University College at Brockport and masters' degree in education from Nazareth College (now Nazareth University)

Current and previous elected offices held: Current Fairport village trustee, elected in 2019. She is vying for her second four-year term on the Village Board.

Occupation: crew member at Trader Joe's, certified athletic trainer

Education: Bachelor's degree in athletic training and exercise science from Ithaca College and masters' degree in athletic training from West Virginia University

Party: Republican, Conservative

Robert Cantwell did not reply to requests for comment

What to know about Election Day 2023

Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2023. Polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Early voting is available at limited locations between Oct. 28 and Nov. 5. Polls will be open between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Friday and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday.

You must register to vote by Saturday, Oct. 28.
