Three sculptures, part of downtown Sioux Falls's annual SculptureWalk, were awarded Best of Show honors on Monday.

Christine Knapps, an artist from Lyons, Colorado, won first place with "Carpe Carp" and a $3,000 award. Second place, and a $2,000 award, went to Shohini Ghosh's "Voltereta," while third place, and a $1,000 award, went to Nathan Pierce and his sculpture "Selene."

The "best-of-the-best" sculptures were judged on artistic merit and creativity, according to a press release. Cash awards for the winning artists were a gift, provided by the Scoular Family Trust.
