Three-star defensive lineman Trevor Buhr commits to Iowa State football

Three-star defensive lineman Trevor Buhr committed to Iowa State football on Thursday. He shared his decision on Twitter.

The 6-4, 270-pound junior out of Washington (Missouri) is the No. 17 player in his state, No. 86 defensive lineman in the country and a top-750 player nationwide, according to 247Sports Composite.

In addition to Iowa State, Buhr holds offers from Iowa, Central Michigan, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, Miami (Ohio), Minnesota, Nebraska, Texas A&M, Washington, Western Michigan and Southeast Missouri State.

Buhr took an official visit to Iowa State on June 10. His only other official visit was to Iowa State on June 24.

Prior to Buhr’s commitment, Matt Campbell's 2023 class was ranked No. 22 in the nation.
