Three from Thomasville graduate Georgia College & State University

Feb. 6—ATLANTA- More than 3,000 students earned degrees at the associate's, bachelor's, master's, specialist and doctoral levels, in addition to undergraduate- and graduate-level academic certificates during the semester.

Students were recognized for their achievements at the university's 109th commencement exercises in December 2023.

Graduates included Christin Connelly of Thomasville, who earned a Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies degree in Environmental Science with a minor in Biological Science, and an Undergraduate Certificate in Water Sciences; Kordae' Bowden of Thomasville, who earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience in the Pre-Medical track, with a minor in Women's, Gender & Sexuality Studies; and Madeline Bruhn of Thomasvill, who earned a Master of Science in Interdiscplinary Studies degree in Biomedical Science & Enterprise for Research.
