Three-vehicle collision in Wall kills one, injures another

WALL TOWNSHIP - A three-vehicle collision in Wall killed one and injured another on Saturday, according to police.

Around 5:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 29, Wall Township Police responded to the intersection of State Highway 138 and Old Mill Road for a report of a serious motor vehicle collision involving three vehicles, police said.

At the scene, officers found three vehicles involved in the collision: a Toyota 4-Runner driven by a 44-year-old man from Howell Township, a Dodge Ram driven by a 62-year-old man from Howell Township, and a Ford Fusion driven by a 55-year-old man from Wall Township, according to police.

Authorities did not identify the victim or the other drivers involved.

The 55-year-old from Wall Township was taken to Jersey Shore University Medical Center by Wall Township Emergency Medical Services and was later pronounced dead, police said. The 44-year-old from Howell Township was also taken to Jersey Shore University Medical Center for non-life-threatening injuries.

The crash remains under investigation by the Wall Township Police Department and Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office Serious Collision Analysis Response Team, police said.
