Three vehicles crashed in Columbus. Days later, a woman died. Now police seek witnesses

Witnesses who arrived on the scene of a deadly three-vehicle crash in Columbus in early December are being asked to contact police for help in the investigation.

The crash happened on Dec. 6 at 2:42 p.m. at the intersection of Macon and Chattsworth roads. One of the drivers was badly injured and was transported to a hospital with life-threatening injuries. The driver, Kim Anderson, succumbed to those injuries on Dec. 16, police said.

Witnesses left the scene before police arrived and now the investigating department, the Motor Squad, is asking those witnesses or anyone else who observed the accident or offered help at the time to call police.
