Three wounded in French Quarter shooting at Mardi Gras closing
NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — The New Orleans Police Department is investigating a shooting in the French Quarter in the final hours of Mardi Gras.
According to NOPD officers, the incident happened at the corner of Canal and Royal streets around 12:23 a.m.

The shooting reportedly left three people wounded. One of them was taken to a hospital by EMS.
