If there's one thing the gays love, it's a talented diva! And who better than one of the most iconic divas of all time, Whitney Houston?!

As a nostalgic throwback to better times, the official Whitney Houston TikTok account posted a major throwback clip of the Grammy-winning R&B and pop legend giving the crowd everything they could have ever wanted at the MTV Pride Pier Dance back in 1999.

In the clip, Houston is performing the Thunderpuss remix of her 1999 single "It's Not Right But It's Okay" (from her 1998 album My Love Is Your Love), which was and still is a staple in many gay clubs all over the world. And as expected, the crowd was going wild. (Oh to be young and gay in NYC back in '99!)

Whitney also performed "Heartbreak Hotel" during her surprise, two-song set, and full video of her performing both of those songs are available online on her legacy YouTube channel.

"They asked me to come by and sing a few songs, and I said, 'Okay,'" Houston told MTV News at the time about stopping by to surprise thousands of her LGBTQ+ fans at the event.

Renewed interest in Houston and her life and musical legacy has been circulating lately, mostly due to the upcoming release of the Kasi Lemmons-directed biopic I Wanna Dance With Somebody.

Watch Whitney's full, surprise NYC Pride '99 performance in the videos below.

I Wanna Dance With Somebody hits theaters this Christmas.
