Thunder vs. Spurs: Lineups, injury reports and broadcast info (Feb. 24)

The Oklahoma City Thunder will play their second game in a four-game homestand on Wednesday night, taking on the San Antonio Spurs at Chesapeake Energy Arena.

This will be the Thunder’s second game against San Antonio this season. The Spurs, whose 16-11 record has them in the thick of the playoff race after missing last season, took down Oklahoma City the first time the two teams faced off.

But San Antonio has not played since Feb. 14, as several games were postponed due to players in the Spurs locker room either testing positive for the coronavirus or undergoing COVID-19 protocol.

Here is how to watch their second battle of the year:

Opponent: San Antonio Spurs
Date and time: Feb. 24, 7 p.m. CT
How to watch: FOX Sports Oklahoma
Radio station: WWLS 98.1FM OKC

Probable starting lineups

Note: This has been updated to reflect the Spurs' starting lineup.

OKLAHOMA CITY THUNDER (12-19)

  • Guard: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander

  • Guard: Theo Maledon

  • Forward: Luguentz Dort

  • Forward: Darius Bazley

  • Center: Al Horford

There's absolutely no clarity for the Spurs' lineup with those who are out on COVID-19 protocol, but LaMarcus Aldridge will reportedly be back. We'll take a stab at it while acknowledging it's likely wrong:

SAN ANTONIO SPURS (16-11)

  • Guard: Dejounte Murray

  • Guard: Lonnie Walker IV

  • Forward: Luka Samanic

  • Forward: Trey Lyles

  • Center: Jakob Poeltl

This will be updated once there is confirmation.

Injury reports

THUNDER

No real change for the Thunder. Al Horford, who missed the last game for rest purposes on the second night of a back-to-back, was not listed on the injury report on Tuesday night.

Spurs

As of Wednesday night, there were five Spurs on the health and safety protocols list: Rudy Gay, Keldon Johnson, Devin Vassell, Quinndary Weatherspoon and Derrick White. DeMar DeRozan remains out after the death of his father. LaMarcus Aldridge was listed as questionable with soreness in his right hip flexor but is expected to play.
