MICHAEL SPENCER: Hello, everyone. Thanks so much for joining us on your CBSN Denver Daily Sports Line for Thursday, April 15. Glad to have you with us. I am Michael Spencer. As always, you can follow me on Twitter, @MichaelCBS4.

Another good night last night for our best bets. We had the NBJ over 19 and 1/2 points. He had 17 points at halftime. Came out in less than a minute into the third quarter, hits a three pointer. So that cashes, which means our best bets on this segment are now 9-1-1 over the last two weeks, dating back to last Monday.

So you know what that means, that the regression is coming and I'm likely to miss tonight's best bet. But we're going to keep firing away, because we're on a hot streak. Fingers crossed that continues. Let's get into tonight's game, shall we?

The Rockies and Dodgers closing out their series in LA. The Rockies, of course, underdogs in this one. They scored two runs last night, but they went 26 innings without scoring a single run.

Ouch. They have lost five straight games. So no surprise, they're the underdog in this one. Rockies plus 1 and 1/2 on the run line. They are plus 230 on the money line for them to win straight up.

And the over under for tonight's game is 7 and 1/2. Now look, I don't hate you taking the Dodgers on the run line, which means the Dodgers would have to win by two runs or more. That's at minus 125. When I look at this game, it's just hard for me to bet on the Rockies right now, right?

They're not swinging the bats. I don't necessarily love their pitching, although I am expecting a decent night from Austin Gomber tonight. But I have a really hard time betting on the Rockies. I do and I'm going to consider Corey Seager, the total bases here. It's at one and a half again.

It's cashed in the last two games for Corey Seager. He's swinging a really hot bat right now. He's hitting 356. He's got 16 hits, 16 of them are doubles.

But I am worried about the left on left match up with Austin Gomber. So my best bet for tonight is actually going to be on the over under. I'm going to play the five inning under four runs. That's going to play out at minus 110, but that is my best bet for tonight.

What that means is that you're only looking at five innings, right? So I'm hoping that I'm not going to be into the bullpen at this point. I think Austin Gomber is going to pitch OK tonight. He didn't have a great outing in his last outing against the Dodgers, but I think that he's going to pitch much better on the road this year than he is at Coors Field.

In fact, in his last outing against the Dodgers, he gave up three 3 runs in just three innings of work. But I expect this to be a fairly low scoring game. Julio Urias is going to be on the mound for the Dodgers. The last time Gomber and Urias faced off the team total was just six.

OK? So give me the five inning total for tonight under four runs, again, at minus 110. You also have a little insurance there in case they're stuck at four runs after five innings, but I think that cashes. That is my best bet for tonight's Dodger-Rockies game.

And that is going to do it for this edition of the CBSN Denver Daily Sports Line, brought to you, as always, by BetMGM, the King of sports books. And as always, good luck.
