Thursday injury report for Washington vs. Bills, Week 3

The Washington Football Team was back on the practice field Thursday ahead of Sunday’s Week 3 matchup against the Buffalo Bills. On Wednesday, Washington listed two key players on the injury report in running back Antonio Gibson and defensive tackle Matt Ioannidis.

Washington received a bit of good news on both players Thursday. Meanwhile, Buffalo’s injury report also looked a bit better.

Here’s a complete look at Thursday’s injury report for both teams:

  • Some great news for Washington with Gibson a full participant. Buffalo will be difficult to run against, so Washington needs its top back.

  • Ioannidis appears to be on track to play. Washington needs interior pressure on Josh Allen, and Ioannidis is an outstanding pass-rusher.

Bills

  • Gabriel Davis, Micah Hyde and Dane Jackson all remain limited. We should know more about their status on Friday.

  • Star Lotulelei did not practice on Wednesday and was limited on Thursday. That's a positive development for the Bills.

  • Levi Wallace was a full participant on Wednesday and was limited on Thursday. That's certainly worth watching.

  • Mario Addison and Emmanuel Sanders each received a day off for rest.
