Thursday marks last day of early voting in Maryland

Voting was brisk Thursday throughout Maryland as early voting wraps up. There were no lines to vote and plenty of parking during the day Thursday at the South Carroll Senior and Community Center, which is one of three early centers in Carroll County. There was a steady stream of voters moving smoothly through the process with many different reasons for casting a ballot in person early and on the last day of early voting in Maryland. While early voting centers close at 8 p.m. Thursday across Maryland, there remain two other methods Marylanders can choose to vote in the midterms: In person on Election Day come Tuesday and by mail, as long as the completed ballot is dropped in a secure ballot drop box or postmarked by 8 p.m. Tuesday.
