The Jackson boys and North Canton Hoover girls made it a clean sweep of the Federal League golf titles on Thursday.

Led by medalist Jordan Kish, the Polar Bears shot a season-low 299 at Tannenhauf to win the boys postseason league tournament. Jackson also won the league’s preseason tournament and the regular season championship.

The Hoover girls pulled off the same trifecta, with medalist Hannah Higgins leading the Vikings to a 13-shot win during the postseason tournament on Thursday at The Elms.

Kish shot an even-par 72 at Tannenhauf as Jackson outdistanced second-place Green by 18 strokes. All four Jackson scorers broke 80, with Ted Hoover shooting 73, Ethan Kasler 76 and Max Weber 78.

GlenOak’s Matt Caldwell tied for second individually with Hoover with a 73, while Green’s Kyle Smith was fourth with a 74. North Canton had two golfers in the 70s with Mario Tortorella shooting a 76 and Daniel Gambone a 78. Perry’s Tyler DeRoy carded a 79.

Higgins shot a 4-over 76 on a tough day for scoring at the Elms to earn the girls medal. Lake’s Amanda Fedor, with a 79, was the only other golfer to break 80.

The Vikings’ scoring was rounded out by Halle Ellis’ 80, Ava Kemp’s 85 and Kylie Porter’s 90.
