Thursday's 17th Annual Merrill Lecture features poet Rosanna Warren

Jun. 1—Thursday, poet and scholar Rosanna Warren will deliver the 17th Annual Merrill House Lecture in Stonington's La Grua Center. The event is free and open to the public.

Warren has written numerous volumes of poetry, including "So Forth," "Ghost in a Red Hat" and "Departure." She is also the author of a biography of cubist poet Max Jacob, as well as a study of lyrical poetry titled "Fables of the Self."

Previous Merrill House lecturers include Louise Gluck, Claudia Rankine, Jorie Graham, Carl Phillips and Marlon James.
