Oshkosh West 10, Appleton East 0

OSHKOSH - The Wildcats scored in all four innings they batted as they cruised to the five-inning Fox Valley Association win.

Abigail Curtis and Brieann Kitchen had two hits apiece and Braelee Jodarski and Kadence Saladin scored twice each to power Oshkosh West.

Madalynn Fuller pitched five innings and allowed three hits for Oshkosh West. She struck out one.

Kaukauna 10, Fond du Lac 0

KAUKAUNA - Anna LaCount hit a two-run home run and winning pitcher Skyler Calmes struck out six batters as the Ghosts knocked off the Cardinals.

Winneconne 6, Ripon 1

WINNECONNE - Aubrie Halder was 3-for-4 with an RBI and Marley Gonnering was 2-for-4 with two RBI as the Wolves built a 6-0 lead through four innings and held on.

Norah Kutnink and Macey Clark added two hits each for Winneconne.

Clark also picked up the win on the mound, allowing one unearned run on three hits while striking out 10.

Avary Makarewicz was 1-for-3 with a run scored to pace Ripon.

Denmark 8, Little Chute 2

LITTLE CHUTE - The Vikings scored five times in the second inning en route to the big win over the Mustangs.

Dakota Brice, Miranda Johanek, Ashlyn Schultz and Kate Buresh all drove in runs in the inning.

Audrey Baugnet picked up the win, going seven innings, allowing seven hits and two runs, while striking out nine and not walking a batter.

Denmark racked up 10 hits in the game with Olivia Allen, Schultz and Johanek all picking up two hits.

Lourdes Academy 6, St. Mary Catholic 5

OSHKOSH - The Knights scored two runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to pull out the victory.

A lead-off single by Adri Geddes and a walk put runners on first and second with no outs. After a fielder’s choice, Camille Cook hit a bases-clearing triple for the walk-off win.

Clark was 4-for-4 with three RBI. Geddes was 3-for-4 with two runs scored, and Riley Kuklinski was 2-for-3 with a double.

Chloe Vogel was 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI for the Zephyrs.

Sarah Blanchard got the win for Lourdes. She allowed six hits, no earned runs and stuck out five.

Nevaeh Saringer took the loss for SMC. She gave up five earned runs and struck out seven.

Hilbert/Stockbridge 10, Oostburg 0

HILBERT - Anna Aldrete pitched a two-hit shutout and went 3-for-4 with two doubles at the plate to lead the Wolves to the Big East win.

Lillian Sheets went 2-for-3 with two doubles and three RBI, Megan Woelfel went 2-for-2 with two doubles and Megan Propson went 3-for-4 to lead the 14-hit attack for Hilbert/Stockbridge.

Brillion 10, Roncalli 2

MANITOWOC - The Lions took a 2-0 lead in the first inning and never trailed in the win over the Jets.

Brillion’s McKenna Eichmeier had four hits, going 4-for-5.

Bristol Foytik got the win for Brillion, allowing seven hits and two runs over four innings. Eichmeier pitched the final three innings.

Ellie Jagemann and Gretchen Kapic both had two hits for Roncalli.

Madison Lamers took the loss for Roncalli.

Shiocton 3, Wittenberg-Birnamwood 1

SHIOCTON - The Chiefs scored twice in the bottom of the sixth to snap a tie.

Larissa Young, Hailie Poppy, Brooklyn Kleiber and Eve Surprise all had hits for Shiocton.

Jadalynn Davids and Halle Beversdorf had two hits each to lead the Chargers.

BASEBALL

Kimberly 14, Oshkosh West 1

KIMBERLY - The Papermakers blew open the game early, scoring four times in the first and eight in the second en route to the five-inning win.

Sawyer Deering picked up the win for Kimberly, pitching all five innings, allowing two hits, two walks and striking out five.

The Papermakers were also led by Brandon Carew, who was 2-for-3 with two doubles, two runs and two RBI; Colin Obermann, who was 2-for-2 with two runs scored and one RBI; Brayden Pleau with two RBI; Carson Peeters with three RBI; and Deering with two RBI.

Hortonville 2, Appleton East 0

APPLETON - Nathan Vela was 2-for-2 with an RBI as the Polar Bears broke through with single runs in the third and fifth to trip up the Patriots.

Thomas Burns picked up the win, allowing just three hits and four walks, while striking out nine.

Brad Verbeten took the loss, allowing just one earned run on six hits and two walks, while striking out five.

Kaukauna 8, Neenah 2

NEENAH - The Ghosts scored four runs in the third and then broke open the game with four runs in the sixth inning in their win over the Rockets.

Pierson VandeHey had three hits for Kaukauna, while Jake Lucas had two hits and a pair of RBI. Owen Mursau drove in three runs.

Sean Severson pitched 5⅓ innings to get the win for Kaukauna. Lucas pitched the final 1⅔ innings.

Jaeden Carstens took the loss for Neenah, allowing four runs on six hits over five innings.

Gradin Taschner and Ethan Van Dyke both had doubles for the Rockets, who committed three errors.

Wrightstown 7, Fox Valley Lutheran 6

WRIGHTSTOWN - The Tigers scored twice in the sixth and four times in the seventh to rally from a five-run deficit to post the North Eastern Conference win. With the bases loaded and no outs, Wrightstown scored the tying and winning run on a fielder’s choice and an error.

Keegan Leick and Trevor Vande Hey were 2-for-4, while Nathan Hansen and Leick added two RBI each to power Wrightstown.

Drew Mears and Corey Riesop were both 2-for-4 with two RBI to lead the Foxes.

Amherst 5-11, Weyauwega-Fremont 0-5

WEYAUWEGA - The Falcons improved to 10-0 overall and 4-0 in the conference with the sweep.

Wyatt Blaskowski carried a perfect game into the seventh inning in the opener before losing it with one out. He finished with one hit allowed and 13 strikeouts in seven innings.

Jake Hoffman had two hits, including a double, and an RBI. Ben Lee added two RBI.

Lee was the winning pitcher in the second game. He allowed one hit and struck out nine in three innings. He also went 2-for-3 with a home run and drove in four runs.

GIRLS SOCCER

Fox Valley Lutheran 5, Marinette 1

APPLETON - Emily Dobberuhl and Nina Hartjes both scored twice to lead the Foxes to the win over the Marines.

Carolina Qualmann also scored for Fox Valley Lutheran.

Karissa Holdcroft and Kenzie Schneider had assists for Fox Valley Lutheran, while Alexis Appleton had two saves.

Chloe Seymour scored for Marinette.

Casey Jensen had 17 saves for Marinette.

Appleton West 3, Green Bay Preble 2

GREEN BAY - The Terrors got goals from Addyson Koneble, Clara Tibetts and Greta Hiltgen en route to the nonconference win.

St. Mary Catholic 4, Kohler 0

FOX CROSSING - Megan Roloff scored three goals to lead the Zephyrs, who scored three goals in the second half.

Claire Benz also scored for SMC.

Olivia Bergstrom and Melisa Piotrowski each had two assists for the Zephyrs.

Greta Norville had one save in goal for SMC (6-2-1 overall, 3-1 Big East), while Nicole Zimmermann made five saves for Kohler.

Freedom 3, Luxemburg-Casco 0

LUXEMBURG - The Irish blanked the Spartans. Tabi Lemens made 13 saves for Luxemburg-Casco.

TRACK AND FIELD

Ripon Tom Callen Invitational

RIPON - Central Wisconsin Christian won the girls small schools meet with a score of 123 and tied St. Mary’s Springs for the boys title with 113 points.

Hortonville won the large school girls meet with 122 points with Kiel a close second 12 points back, while it was reversed in the boys meet with Kiel winning with 136 points and Hortonville six points behind.

In the boys large school meet, Hortonville’s Ben Smith won the shot put with a put of 51-7.75 and the discus with a throw of 173-3.

Berlin’s Devin Derleth won the triple jump with a jump of 41-7 and the 200-meter dash with a time of :23.69.

In the girls large school meet, Ripon’s Celina Lopez swept the 100- and 200-meter dashes with times of :13.12 and :26.51, respectively. Lopez also won the long jump with a jump of 17-2 and the triple jump with a jump of 35-5.5.

In the small school boys meet, Bryce Simon of New Holstein won the 100- and 200-meter dashes with times of :11.90 and :24.33, respectively.

Thomas Koffman of St. Mary’s Springs won both hurdles events, taking the 110-meter hurdles with a time of :17.01 and the 300-meter hurdles with a time of :44.24. Teammate Nolan Boudry won the shot put with a put of 42-8.5 and the discus with a throw of 129-7.

Central Wisconsin Christian’s Cade Vliestra won the high jump at 5-4 and the triple jump at 36-10.

In the girls meet, Valley Christian’s Camryn Hass won the shot put with a put of 34-1.5 and the discus ucss with a throw of 83-7. Her teammate Alaina Wojtowski won the 200-meter dash with a time of :28.53 and the long jump with a jump of 13-8.75.

Central Wisconsin Christian’s Olivia Ruis won the 100-meter hurdles with a time of :17.68 and the 300-meter hurdles with a time of :51.00.

Tri-County Invitational

PLAINFIELD - Weyauwega-Fremont captured both meets, winning the girls meet with 135 points and the boys meet with 112 points.

Wittenberg-Birnamwood finished second in the girls meet with 133.5 points. Wild Rose took second in the boys meet with 98 points.

In the girls meet, Reese Rogowski won the 100-, 200- and 400-meter dashes with times of :13.15, :27.02 and 1:00.36, respectively. Rogowski also won the long jump with a jump of 16-11.

Weyauwega-Fremont’s Abby Bartel won the 800, 1,600 and 3,200 with times of 2:29.58; 5.35.85 and 12:22.35.

Wild Rose’s Kinsey Reynolds won the 100-meter hurdles with a time of :17.42 and the 300-meter hurdles with a time of :54.03.

Amherst’s Lauren Bird won the shot put with a put of 38-8 and the discus with a throw of 105-0.

In the boys meet, Weyauwega-Fremont’s Quinn Dittmann won the 100 with a time of :11.89 and the 200 with a time of :23.79.

Mason Beder of Wild Rose won the shot put with a put of 41-8.5 and the discus with a throw of 133-1.
