Here are Thursday's high school sports results for the Oshkosh and Fond du Lac area

BASEBALL

Oshkosh West 13, Appleton West 3

APPLETON - Kyle Wolf pitched 4⅔ innings, allowing two hits and striking out eight to pitch the Wildcats to the victory.

Hank Meyer and Owen Ervin each drove in two runs for Oshkosh West.

Hortonville 11, Fond du Lac 6

HORTONVILLE - The Polar Bears busted out their big bats with four home runs against the Cardinals, scoring in every inning but the first.

Joe Fischer, Camden Kuhnke, Turner Kuhnke and Brett Sommer all hit homers for Hortonville and Camden Kuhnke also cracked a double to finish 2-for-4 with two runs scored and two RBIs. Fischer was 2-for-3 with three runs and a pair of RBIs.

Logan Kraus finished 2-for-3 with a walk, two runs, two stolen bases and an RBI for Fondy, and Brayden Eigenbrodt went 2-for-3 with a double and two RBIs.

Ethan Peters earned the win for the Polar Bears going three innings while giving up four hits, three walks, three earned runs and striking out four.

Sam Ernst took the loss for Fondy after 3⅔ innings, giving up eight hits, three walks, three homers and seven earned runs. Ernst struck out one batter.

Laconia 12, Waupun 8

WAUPUN - Laconia banged out 12 hits, including six doubles and one home run, in the nonconference win.

Sawyer Shultis led the Spartans going 3-for-5 with an RBI and three runs scored, while Reed McCauley was 2-for-4 with two doubles, four RBIs and one run scored. Justin Seggerman was 2-for-4 with a double and a home run, and Connor Shaver was 2-for-5 with a double and two runs scored.

Laconia led 6-0 in the third before Waupun rallied for two runs in the bottom of the third and three in the fourth. Laconia then scored five times in the fifth.

Lomira 10, Winnebago Lutheran 0

FOND DU LAC - Lomira improved to 2-3 overall and 2-2 in the Flyway Conference with the victory.

Josh Steger pitched a shutout to earn the win, striking out 11 batters and walking none.

Turner Wagoner, Easton Zangl and Talan Luedtke had three hits apiece and Brady Mann chipped in with two hits for the Lions.

SOFTBALL

Oshkosh West 7, Appleton West 0

APPLETON - Braelee Jodarski pitched a no-hitter, striking out 11 and walking two to lead the Wildcats past the Terrors.

The game was scoreless until the fifth inning, when Oshkosh West scored three runs. Jodarski, who was 2-for-4 with a double, Savannah Swanke and Colleen Fitzpatrick had singles in the inning.

Kathryn Bergin added two hits, including a double, and Brianna Bougie also had two hits for the Wildcats.

Oshkosh North 16, Appleton East 15

OSHKOSH - Lauren Geer had three hits, including the walk-off winner in the ninth inning, for the Spartans.

Sophia Housworth also had three hits for Oshkosh North.

Lomira 7, Laconia 2

LOMIRA - The Lions scored five runs in the fourth inning to pull away for the win over the Spartans.

Nora Buske had a triple and three RBIs for Lomira. Taylor Bloohm had two hits, including a double, Savanna Frea had two hits and an RBI, and Marie Steinman had a triple.

Haleigh Caspary pitched 3⅔ innings to get the win. She allowed two hits, one run and struck out four.

Morgan Wiercinski hit a double for Laconia. Addison Maurer and Emma Bohn each drove in a run.

North Fond du Lac 19, Omro 2

OMRO - The Orioles scored six runs in the top of the first inning and eight in the sixth to defeat the Foxes.

Lucy Hughes picked up the win for the Orioles, scattering seven hits, while striking out seven and allowing two earned runs.

Offensively, North Fond du Lac pounded out 11 hits, including five doubles.

Hughes led the Orioles with three hits, including a double and three RBIs. Kalista Ziemer had three hits with a double and two RBIs. Lauren Stettbacher added two hits with a double and two RBIs, Maddie Langolf doubled with two RBIs, and Leah Patterson and Abi Miller both drove in two runs.

Maddie Brooks went 3-for-3 to lead Omro, including a home run and two RBIs, while Madelyn Poppy added two hits.

North Fond du Lac improved to 2-1 in the Flyway Conference and 3-1 overall.

GIRLS SOCCER

Winnebago Lutheran 1, St. Mary’s Springs 1

FOND DU LAC - The Vikings scored in the first half and the Ledgers scored in the second half in the Flyway Conference draw.

Ava Lorenz scored for WLA at 39:04 off an assist from Amara Balthazor.

Springs got its goal from Ava Huempfner off an assist from Molly Diedrich at 42:29.

WLA goalie Lydia Bernhard made 17 saves.

“Our girls really had to work hard and defend for 80 minutes. We are very happy with this result,” WLA coach David Haag said.

Plymouth 3, Ripon 0

PLYMOUTH - The Panthers improved to 6-0 overall and 2-0 in the East Central Conference, while Ripon fell to 4-2 overall and 0-2 in the ECC.

Alexis Balde got things going for Plymouth in the 11th minute with an unassisted goal.

Molly Munson netted the second goal for the Panthers in the 78th minute, assisted by Alexis Balde, and Hailey Batzner followed in the 79th minute on an assist from Kalli Knowles.

Plymouth outshot the Tigers, 15-0.

Addi Reimer and Paige Kurtz split the shutout in goal for the Panthers.

Hailee Scheier had 12 saves for Ripon.
