Here are Thursday's high school sports results

SOFTBALL

Green Bay Preble 17, Bay Port 0

GREEN BAY - Katie Geydoshek pitched a one-hit shutout for the Hornets, striking out 11 of the 13 batters she faced.

Preble’s 16-hit attack was led by Tenley Kuehn, who was 3-for-3 at the plate with two doubles. Ashley Wolfe also had three hits, while Hannah Smith and Chloe Savage each had two hits.

The game ended in the bottom of the fourth inning with a Sam Foytik grand slam.

Ally Knutson had the only hit for the Pirates.

St. Mary Catholic 11, Manitowoc Lutheran 1

FOX CROSSING - The Lancers loaded the bases on a hit, an error and a passed ball on strike three in the second inning. Two fielder’s choices at home brought up Bree Hansen, who singled in the only run for Manitowoc.

In the third inning, a walk, a Teagan Miller single and a sacrifice put two runners in scoring position for Sammi Weiss, who doubled in both SMC runners. With two outs, Chloe Vogel tripled, which scored Weiss. Before the inning ended, Nevaeh Saringer smashed a two-RBI double off the left field fence.

The next frame, Adela Thiel and Weiss started the inning for the Zephyrs with singles before Chloe Vogel drove them home with a single. Jaylyn Akey walked, putting two runners on, then Emily Vogel doubled in one run and Saringer brought in the other on a ground out.

Weiss finished 2-for-2 with a double, two runs scored and two RBIs. Chloe Vogel went 2-for-3 with a triple, two runs scored and three RBIs. Emily Vogel was 1-for-2 with the RBI double and Saringer was 1-for-3 with a double and three RBIs.

Rhiannon Reichenbacher earned the win for SMC, giving up three hits, a walk and an unearned run in five innings, striking out four.

Maya Keil took the loss for the Lancers, giving up six hits, three walks and seven runs in three innings.

Oconto Falls 5, Wrightstown 4

OCONTO FALLS - The Panthers pushed across the winning run in the bottom of the 11th to upend the Tigers in North Eastern Conference action.

Madeline Maloney was 4-for-6, while Kyndra Staidl, Amelia Danielczak, Keira Cole and Ashlyn Allen added three hits each for Oconto Falls. The Panthers were also led by Miranda Metzler and Sydney Bell, who finished with two hits each.

Lily Kurek got the complete-game win, allowing just eight hits, four runs - two earned - with one walk and five strikeouts in 11 innings.

Mallory Colwell had the hot bat for Wrightstown, going 4-for-5 with three RBI, including two doubles. Maddy Wilson also had two hits for the Tigers, including a double.

Colwell took the loss on the mound, allowing 22 hits, five earned runs, one walk and five strikeouts.

Hilbert/Stockbridge 9, Cedar Grove-Belgium 0

HILBERT - Alandra Grenzer pitched a complete-game one-hitter as the Wolves rolled over the Rockets in Big East Conference action.

Leading the Hilbert/Stockbridge offense were Chloe Koslowski, who went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI; Kaylee Hernke, who was 2-for-3 with three stolen bases; and Makayla Plate, who had a triple and an RBI.

Hilbert/Stockbridge opened the scoring with one run in the third before scoring three times in the fourth and five in the fifth.

BASEBALL

St. Mary Catholic 3, Manitowoc Lutheran 2

FOX CROSSING - The Zephyrs scored twice in the first inning and once in the fourth and held on from there.

Three St. Mary Catholic pitchers combined on a six-hitter, allowing just single runs in the third and sixth.

Owen Ripley had the only RBI for the Zephyrs, while Joseph Pirillo, Colin Nigl, Ray Pingel and Noah Decker had hits for St. Mary Catholic.

Kiel 7, Roncalli 0

KIEL - The Raiders scored two runs in the first, three in the third and two in the fourth in their one-hit shutout of the Jets.

Nathan Stephany went 1-for-3 with two RBIs for Kiel and Collin Gosse went 2-for-3 with a double and two steals. Tate Hartlaub and Brett Hartlaub each scored twice and stole two bases. Harrison Zorn and Dylan Jeanty tied for the team lead with three steals apiece and the Raiders swiped 13 bags as a team.

Martin DeWane collected the lone hit for Roncalli and Eddie Freis drew the only walk for the Jets.

Stephany earned the win for Kiel after four innings of one-hit ball with four strikeouts.

Dominik Frozena took the loss for Roncalli after two innings pitched, giving up two hits, five walks, five runs (two earned) and striking out two.

NEW Lutheran 9, Laona/Wabeno 4

GREEN BAY - Griffin Steffel led NEW Lutheran with a 4-for-4 day at the plate, which included two doubles and three runs scored. Elijah Meerstein was 2-for-2 with a double and two RBIs and Jack Henschel finished 2-for-3 with a double and two RBIs.

Brady Shepard went 4-for-4 for Laona/Wabeno and Braden Brauer was 2-for-4.

Meerstein earned the win for the Blazers.

Preston VanZile took the loss for the Rebels.

GIRLS SOCCER

Kimberly 1, De Pere 0

DE PERE - Senah Hanes scored in the first half off an assist from Abby Lom as the Papermakers beat the Redbirds in a nonconference matchup.

Kimberly remains unbeaten with a 7-0 record.

NORTH FOND DU LAC - Lydia Bernhard had four saves in goal for WLA in the draw against the Orioles.

Kiel 8, New Holstein 0

KIEL - Taylor Schad scored three goals and Abby Moore had three assists for the Raiders in the win over the Huskies.

Moore, Taavi Saeger, Grace McDole, Sydney August and Kendra Muehlbauer also scored goals for Kiel.
