Highlights from Thursday in high school sports:

BOYS BASKETBALL

  • Colin Guenther had 14 points and five assists, Zane Carter finished with 13 points and 11 rebounds, Josh Ullegue and Joel Ipatzi each scored 12 points, and Wakine Molina contributed eight points to lead Buena (12-2) to a 70-37 victory over Nordhoff on the third day of the Ventura Kiwanis Tournament. Beckham Rutherford scored 13 points and Josh Rosen and Willem Rutherford each had nine points for the Rangers.

  • Austin Maziasz finished with 20 points, seven rebounds and two blocks, Kayden Elsokary had 19 points, 11 rebounds and five assists, and Danny Bao had 10 points and five rebounds to lead Westlake (12-5) to a 68-50 victory over Rio Mesa on the third day of the Ventura Kiwanis Tournament.

  • Nasir Meyer scored 30 points to lead Agoura (9-4) to a 70-32 win over Santa Clara in the Chargers' first game of the Ventura Kiwanis Tournament.

  • Mathew Wilson scored 16 points, Dylan Benner finished with 15 points and nine rebounds, and Dony Clark and Sam Seiden each scored 10 points as St. Bonaventure (9-6) rallied from a 17-point deficit to beat Hillcrest-Riverside 58-54 in overtime at The Classic at Damien.

  • Marcos Jaquez scored 21 points, Tyler Hook had 17 points and Chase Aronowitz contributed 11 points to lead Camarillo (11-6) to a 63-57 win over Golden Valley in the semifinals of the Hart Tournament.

  • Isaiah Sherrard had 25 points and six rebounds and Isaiah Kelly had six points and five assists for Oak Park (9-7) in its 75-54 loss to St. Pius X at The Classic at Damien.

  • Trent MacLean finished with 32 points and 14 rebounds, Elias Chin had 13 points, nine rebounds and seven assists, Jacob Kjarval scored 11 points, and Luke Koren had eight points, eight rebounds and four assists to lead Thousand Oaks to a 73-71 victory over West Torrance on the third day of the Ernest Baskerville Christmas Tournament at South Pasadena High.

  • Sergio Ornelas had 11 points, 12 rebounds and two blocks and Richard Miranda had nine points and three steals for Pacifica (6-10) in its 37-32 loss to Eastside on the third day of the Ernest Baskerville Christmas Tournament at South Pasadena High.

  • Gavin Murphy scored 32 points and Peter Gray had 10 points for Calabasas in its 68-63 loss to Maranatha on the third day of the Ernest Baskerville Christmas Tournament at South Pasadena High.

  • Ryder Mjoen had 28 points and nine rebounds and Caleb Peters finished with 16 points, seven rebounds and six assists to lead Simi Valley to a 69-59 win over Beverly Hills at the Rancho Mirage Desert Holiday Classic.

  • Ace Arnold scored 18 points, Parker Hill had 14 points and Drew Romano had 12 points for Royal (7-11) in its 67-61 loss to Hoover at the Rancho Mirage Desert Holiday Classic.

  • Reese Widerburg scored 23 points and Dominik Contreras had 14 points for Oxnard (14-2) in its 60-57 loss to Monte Vista in the Torrey Pines Holiday Classic.

  • Charlie Muir scored 17 points, Johnny Kostenuik had 15 points and Noah Cotton had 12 points for Newbury Park (14-4) in its 62-59 loss to Knight in a nonleague game.

  • Moorpark defeated Sierra Pacific 75-63 at the Santa Barbara Holiday Classic.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

  • Freshman Karisma Lewis poured in 38 points and Riannah Lopez and Skye Thomas each had nine points to lead Buena to a 69-32 victory over Royal on the third day of the Santa Clara Winter Classic.

  • Mika Jarrett finished with 25 points and seven rebounds, Sofia Salgado had 12 points and six rebounds, Kayla Lumas had six points and five rebounds, Kristan Yumul dished out eight assists, and Aiyana Gonzalez added five points and three rebounds to lead Oxnard (11-4) to a 49-30 victory over Saugus on the third day of the Santa Clara Winter Classic.

  • Mimi Moon finished with 21 points, eight rebounds, five assists, two blocks and two steals, Haven Ramirez had 14 points, six rebounds, four steals and two blocks, Mikayla Oliver had nine points, four rebounds and two steals, Jaydah Goins had nine points, three assists and two steals, and Mykah Johnson had six points, eight rebounds, five assists and three steals to lead Pacifica to a 69-25 win over St. Bonaventure on the third day of the Santa Clara Winter Classic.

  • Mila-Nai ColonYau scored 15 points to lead Thousand Oaks to a 34-27 win over Franklin on the third day of the Santa Clara Winter Classic.

  • Rio Mesa lost to Oakwood 47-28 on the third day of the Santa Clara Winter Classic.

  • Jamilyn Carton hit six 3-pointers in the first half and finished with 20 points, five steals, three rebounds and two blocks, Helena Koubek had 12 points and six rebounds, and Amailee Crisp had 12 points, three rebounds and two steals to lead Agoura to a 65-51 win over Kennedy in the West Coast Holiday Tournament at Burroughs High.

  • Alyssa Jackson scored 13 points, Mathis Dritz had 12 points and Emma Ange had 10 points to lead Westlake (10-4) to a 47-34 win over Coronado (Nevada) in the semifinals of the the Bonita Vista Gold Crown Tournament.

  • Fillmore lost to Pacific Ridge 40-24 and Vaughn 47-43 at the Avalon Tournament. Against Pacific Ridge, Analise Luna scored 14 points and Erika Sanchez had six points. Against Vaughn, Isabella Ramirez had nine points, Marissa Lugo had eight points, Nataly Vigil had seven points, and Aryanne Munoz and Luna each had six points. On Wednesday, the Flashes (2-6) lost to Pacifica Christian 28-26. Luna had seven points and Sanchez had six points.

BOYS SOCCER

  • Ruben Martinez, Abraham Servín and Justin Cruz scored goals, Chris Carbajal, Pabel Ayala and Anthony Castellanos had assists, and goalie Anthony Velasquez posted a shutout in net to lead Oxnard (11-1-3) to a 3-0 victory over Westlake at the Buena High New Year's Tournament. Chris Díaz, Ulises Morales and Miguel Cabrera scored goals, Ruben Martinez had two assists, Andres Martinez had an assist, and Adrian Luna earned the shutout in net to lead the Yellowjackets (12-1-3) to a 3-0 win over Hueneme in their second game of the day.

  • Michael Sauceda and Andy Martinez scored goals off assists by Bryant Martinez and Angel Ortiz to lead Pacifica (9-1-1) to a 2-1 victory over Palmdale at the Buena High New Year's Tournament. The Tritons played to a 0-0 draw with Canoga Park in their first game of the day.

  • Buena defeated Foothill Tech 2-1 at the Buena High New Year's Tournament. Diego Flores scored for the Dragons.

  • Royal defeated Foothill Tech 3-1 at the Buena High New Year's Tournament. JP Flores scored for the Dragons.
