TI11 LCQ Day 4: Secret, VP, Liquid, VG survive to the final day of the LCQ

Team Liquid's MATUMBAMAN, Team Secret's Puppey, Virtus.pro's gpk, and Vici Gaming's Yang.

Only four teams remain standing in The International 11 (TI11) Last Chance Qualifier at the end of its penultimate day on Tuesday (11 October): Team Secret, Virtus.pro (VP), Vici Gaming (VG), and Team Liquid.

Western Europe's Secret and Eastern Europe's VP have advanced to the upper bracket finals and will clash for the first of two spots in TI11's Group Stage.

China's VG and Western Europe's Liquid round out the Top 4 of the TI11 LCQ. Those two teams will face off in the lower bracket semifinals for the chance to advance to the lower bracket finals, where the second TI11 Group Stage slot will be up for grabs.

Meanwhile, Natus Vincere (Na'Vi), Wildcard Gaming, T1, and Xtreme Gaming were eliminated from contention after falling in the second and third rounds of the lower bracket.

The final day of the TI11 LCQ will begin with the upper bracket finals between Secret and VP, with the winner claiming the first spot in TI11's Group Stage while the loser gets a second chance in the lower bracket finals.

The second match of the day will be the lower bracket semifinals between Liquid and VG, with the winner advancing to the lower bracket finals while the loser gets eliminated.

The LCQ will close with the lower bracket finals between the loser of the upper bracket finals and the winner of the lower bracket semifinals. The winner will claim the second spot in TI11's Group Stage while the loser will fall short of qualifying for this year's world championship tournament.

The TI11 LCQ will take place from 8 to 12 October and will feature the 12 runners-up from the regional qualifiers fighting for the last two spots in the Group Stage. The LCQ will begin with a single round-robin Group Stage from 8 to 9 October followed by a double-elimination Playoffs from 10 to 12 October.
