Tibetans protest over India-China border clash

STORY: Protesters demonstrated their demands as they sloganeered and held posters including one depicting China and its occupied territories and another with a painting of Indian sanitizer and a gun aimed at coronavirus with China's flag on its head.

Tibetans in Dharamsala also showed solidarity with the Indian army as they waved the country's flag along with the Tibetan national flag.

The December 9 scuffle was the first between the two countries since deadly clashes in June 2020 when Indian and Chinese troops were involved in hand-to-hand combat in the Galwan Valley of Ladakh, abutting the Chinese-held Tibetan plateau. The incident led to the death of 20 Indian soldiers and four Chinese troops.
