2022 Rocket Mortgage Classic features new viewing areas, youth golf zone at Detroit Golf Club

Tickets for the 2022 Rocket Mortgage Classic — July 26-31 at Detroit Golf Club — are now on sale.

Daily grounds tickets and shared hospitality passes for the fourth edition of the classic were made available at rocketmortgageclassic.com starting Monday, according to an organization news release.

Grounds passes start at $60 for Thursday's first round (July 28), $70 for the second round (July 29) and $80 per day for the final two rounds (July 30 and July 31). All tickets are digital.

Cameron Davis won the 2021 tournament, outlasting Troy Merritt and Joaquin Niemann in a July 4 playoff to win his first PGA Tour title.

"Whether you’re looking to come out and watch the PGA TOUR’s best golfers up close and personal or you’re just a fan of exciting community events and summer fun, there’s something for everyone," Jason Langwell, Rocket Mortgage Classic executive director, said in the release. "When you add in the positive impact that the Rocket Mortgage Classic makes every year through our Changing the Course initiative to end the digital divide, it’s an event that’s truly meaningful to our Detroit communities.”

The LendingTree Lounge, starting at $100 per day, and the Michelob Ultra Athletic Club, beginning at $250 per day, offer tented and outdoor seating, upgraded food and beverage options and private restrooms.

Fans ages 15 and under will receive a complimentary grounds ticket when accompanied by a ticketed adult (up to four kids per adult) Thursday-Sunday, the release states

Local fans have complimentary admission and parking July 26 for the AREA 313 Celebrity Scramble and the Youth Golf Clinic and July 27 for the Delta Dental pro-am thanks to the Detroit Community Days initiative presented by DTE, the release states.

Parking for Thursday-Sunday rounds starts at $20 per day. Public parking for those days will be at Wayne State University; a shuttle will be provided to and from Detroit Golf Club.

Since 2019, the event has invested more than $5.25 million into nonprofit organizations, according to the release, including $3.2 million through the Changing the Course initiative first launched in 2020.
