Tickets available for Nordonia High School Drama's fall production, 'Puffs'

Nordonia Drama will present "Puffs: or Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic and Magic," by Matt Cox, as this year’s fall production Nov. 19 and 20.

For seven years a certain boy wizard went to a certain Wizard School and conquered evil. This, however, is not his story. This is the story of the Puffs ... who just happened to be there too. A tale for anyone who has never been destined to save the world.

This play gives a new look at a familiar adventure from the perspective of three potential heroes just trying to make it through a magic school that proves to be very dangerous for children. Alongside them are the Puffs, a group of well-meaning, loyal outsiders. This parody will be a night of fun for all, whether you are a wizarding world fanatic or not.

This year’s production will feature a cast of 16 students onstage, with several more working behind the scenes as members of our crews. At the helm is director of drama, Chris Simmons, assisted by Nordonia Drama alum Julia Dulaney.

Performances for Puffs are: Saturday, Nov. 19 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 20, at 2 and 7 p.m., on the high school auditorium stage.

Tickets, now available, are $10 each, and are general admission. Audiences will be limited to 100 people per performance, so reservations in advance are recommended. To reserve tickets and for more information on Nordonia Drama, including info on upcoming programming, visit www.nordoniadrama.com.
