Tickets for Packers games — home or away — are among the most in-demand in the NFL. Here's what the first 5 games will cost you.

GREEN BAY – Green Bay Packers fans can be their own worst enemies when it comes to ticket prices. That's playing out in the early part of the 2022 season, as ticket prices for the first five games all are at premiums.

The least-expensive get-in price for the team's first five games is $211 for the season opener Sept. 11 in Minnesota. That is little changed from a month ago. Normally, prices begin to drop as game day nears.

The lowest prices for games is determined by averaging the cheapest tickets at 10 secondary market sites.

According to secondary marketplace TickPick, the Packers are fourth in the league at driving up prices when they come to town. Tickets cost 22% more when the visiting team is the Packers. Dallas ranked first, driving prices 43% higher, followed by Tampa Bay, 32%, and Buffalo, 28%.

Reinforcing that argument, StubHub said the Packers will play four of the 10 most in-demand games, based on sales through Aug. 25. That's more than any other team.

The Packers' game against the Vikings in Minneapolis is the 10th-most in-demand game of the NFL season, based on sales through Aug. 25. The average get-in price for the game is $211.

Tampa Bay at Dallas on Sept. 11 is the most in-demand game. Dallas at Green Bay on Nov. 13 is fourth, Packers at Bucs on Sept. 25 is fifth, Chicago at Green Bay on Sept. 18 is sixth, and Packers at Vikings on Sept. 11 is 10th.

"Demand for Green Bay has more than doubled since 2021, moving the Packers up four spots from their 2021 position to land as our third best-selling team this year," StubHub said. "In addition to facing off with the Giants in our second best-selling NFL International game in London, the Packers play in four of our best-selling domestic games of the season — the most of any team.”

The get-in price for the Packers' Oct. 9 game against the New York Giants in London is $538. It will be the first international series game for the Packers, the last NFL team to play a regular-season game in another country.

At 62,850, Tottenham Hotspur stadium has the third-largest capacity in England, but it would rank ahead of only Chicago's Soldier Field in the NFL. Couple that with the high demand for tickets — there are a lot of Packers fans in the United Kingdom, to say nothing of Europe — and the price is not only holding, it is increasing in cost. The get-in price was $507 a month ago.

The most expensive of the first few games, not counting the game in London, is the Sept. 25 game in Tampa, with an average get-in price of $276. Tack that up to a continued interest in Aaron Rodgers-Tom Brady matchups, and perhaps some attraction to traveling to Florida. Although, for Packers fans, a December game there would be better.

Rounding out the first five weeks is $264 for New England at Green Bay on Oct. 2 and $236 for Bears at Packers on Sept. 18, which is a Sunday night game. Those games have had the largest drop in ticket prices over the last month, with Chicago coming in $20 cheaper and New England down $16.
