Tickets on sale now for two popular rock nostalgia shows at Daytona's Peabody Auditorium

Is it true that if you remember the 1960s you weren’t really there?

Apparently not, because rock ‘n’ roll nostalgia is alive and well, powering two concert tours booked this coming year at the Peabody Auditorium in Daytona Beach.

On April 17, veteran Pink Floyd tribute band Brit Floyd brings its P.U.L.S.E. 2024 Tour to the Peabody to offer a faithful recreation of Pink Floyd’s legendary final Division Bell tour in 1994.

Then, on June 5, the popular Happy Together Tour returns with its package of groovy 1960s and ‘70s bands hosted by the Turtles and featuring performances by Jay and the Americans, The Association, Badfinger, the Vogues and the Cowsills.

If you’d like to hop on the way-back machine, tickets for both shows go on sale Friday, Dec. 8 at Ticketmaster.com and the Peabody box office.

Here’s more to know about both concerts:

Brit Floyd promises biggest production yet

After a decade channeling Pink Floyd’s music and stage presence, Brit Floyd is going bigger than ever on its 2024 P.U.L.S.E. tour, according to the band.

The celebration of Pink Floyd’s epic final tour in 1994 will be augmented by a dazzling laser and light show, eye-popping visuals on a circular screen, inflatables and other theatrics, according to the band’s promotional announcement.

The 2-1/2-hour show showcases songs that encompass Pink Floyd’s complete album catalog, including such foundation rock classics as “Dark Side of the Moon,” “The Wall” and “Wish You Were Here,” among others.

In 1994, Floyd’s Division Bell Tour ranked as the highest-grossing tour in rock music history, playing to over 5 million people in 68 cities.

Offering homage to Pink Floyd since 2011, Brit Floyd has assembled a lineup of musicians for the 2024 tour that include “Canadian Idol” talent show winner Eva Avila and others under the supervision of singer/guitarist/musical director Damian Darlington. He has performed more than 2,500 Pink Floyd-related tribute shows.
