Tickets to Young Dolph's 'Celebration of Life' at the FedExForum sell out in 90 minutes

Tickets to the public memorial for Young Dolph sold out 90 minutes after becoming available, according to a spokesperson for the rapper and philanthropist.

The 'Celebration of Life' for Young Dolph, whose real name is Adolph Thornton Jr., is set for Thursday at the FedExForum. Free tickets were available through Ticketmaster, and went on sale early Monday morning.

The memorial for Thornton will include remarks from those closest to him as well as performances from other artists under Young Dolph's label, Paper Route Empire.

The event serves as the public's chance to memorialize the slain rapper; Thornton's funeral was a private event for family and close friends.

Thornton was killed Nov. 17 after two suspects fired through the window of Makeda's Homemade Butter Cookies, an independently-owned bakery that Thornton frequented during his trips to Memphis.

The investigation into his death is ongoing.
