The Panhandle-Plains Historical Museum held its 2nd annual Tidings of the Trees fundraiser event Thursday evening to support its educational initiatives at the museum, located on the WT campus in Canyon.
A night filled with holiday music, food and spirits was capped off with a live bid auction of one-of-a-kind Christmas trees made from unique materials, each with a creative theme and made by local artists and businesses. Trees were made of geodes, wine bottles and many other interesting materials, which gave a distinctive and quirky artistic appeal for display at Christmas. The event also featured a silent auction with other items available.
