Tie the knot at Dontino's, get hitched at Hale Farm: Akron court reserves marriage spots

Local couples can tie the knot at a historic farm, an Italian restaurant or a park lodge.

These are a few of the eight locations where the Akron Municipal Court will offer off-site weddings in January through March.

The weddings will be:

Appointments are on a first-come, first-served basis. The fee is $25 for those who are in the court’s jurisdiction and $40 for those who are not. The jurisdiction is: Akron, Fairlawn, Bath, Richfield, Springfield Township, Lakemore and the Summit County portion of Mogadore.

The Akron court is now regularly offering weddings at off-site locations and to mark special occasions and holidays.
