Tiffany Haddish and Common are no longer a couple, according to an insider for People.

After one year of dating, the comedian and the rapper have ended their relationship. "They are never in the same city together and both of them are just too busy for a serious relationship," a source told the outlet.

The two first met on the set of the 2019 film The Kitchen, and Haddish confirmed their romance just a year later during an interview on Steve-O's podcast, Steve-O's Wild Ride.

"I am in a relationship," she said at the time.

She recalled that the two kindled a friendship first before becoming romantic. "[It] wasn't anything sexual or anything like that because my eyes were set on something else," she said, adding that she went on a virtual Bumble date before the two decided to pursue a relationship. "And then he got tested for everything, I got tested for everything and yeah, we've been f—ing," she joked. "This is hands down the best relationship I've ever been in—knock on wood!"

Haddish also told Steve-O that she feels more confident in herself, which may have contributed to the relationship's overall health. "I feel more confident in me and it's not him that's doing it," she said. "I'm just way happier and it's like knowing I got somebody that cares about me, that really has my back. It seems like he does anyways. And I love it. I love him."

Soon after Haddish announced their relationship, Common also gushed about his then girlfriend on an episode of Live with Kelly and Ryan.

"She's a wonderful woman, a queen, and just a beautiful person, man," he said at the time. "I just care for her a lot, enjoy her, and am grateful to have her in my life. I'm happy."
